The Georgian government's policy to improve business administration made the country a leader. In 2018, Georgia ranked sixth out of 190 countries in the Doing Business rating. The country improved its position by three points over the year and strengthened its image of a country where it is easy to do business.

The fight against corruption in Georgia, which has been going on for a long time, has achived significant results. According to the World Bank's Global Governance Indicators study, Georgia scored 77.4 out of 100 points in corruption management efficiency and reached its all-time high since 1996. Georgia entered the list of leading countries in the fight against corruption, ahead of many European states. Georgia ranks 44th in the corruption perception index, on a par with Latvia in 2019. This is one of the highest rates among the post-Soviet countries.
