Tourism boom
In 2019, 9.4 million tourists from all over the world visited Georgia, which is 8% more than a year ago. Such a tourist flow has led to an increase in the indicators of the hotel market. Since 2014, the number of hotel rooms in Tbilisi has grown by 44%, and in Batumi by 109%.
Tourism has boosted the local investment property market: the supply of hotel-type apartments in Batumi and Tbilisi, the main tourist cities, has doubled over the past few years.
